Six kinds of premises, six ways of working

A kitchen is not protected like a building's car park: hygiene rules, public access and discretion change everything.

  • Restaurants, butchers and bakeries

Kitchen, cold room, stockroom, cellar: treatments that fit around service, numbered stations, every corrective action entered in the log.

  • Local shops

Shop floor and stockroom treated before opening, with no smell or visible equipment for customers.

  • Apartment blocks and landlords

Cellars, bin stores, risers and car parks treated building-wide, with notices to keep residents informed.

  • Offices and shared workspaces

Staff kitchens, ceiling voids and plant rooms checked outside working hours.

  • Hotels and holiday lets

Room inspections, discreet bed bug treatment and rooms back on the market as soon as possible.

  • Warehouses and stockrooms

Loading bays, racking and stock monitored against rodents and insects that attack foodstuffs.

Sentinel Protocol

The Sentinel Protocol under contract

The four steps repeat at every scheduled visit, and the log keeps a record of them.

  1. 1

    Inspect

Initial site visit, plan of sensitive areas and numbering of monitoring stations.

  2. 2

    Treat

Appropriate treatment as soon as activity is recorded, baits and traps serviced at every visit.

  3. 3

    Sanitise

Entry points gradually sealed and written instructions for staff, the caretaker or the managing agent.

  4. 4

    Follow up

Scheduled visits, log and reports kept current, an extra visit included whenever activity is noticed.

What your file contains

After every visit, concrete records to keep or pass on.

  1. 01A map of numbered monitoring stations
  2. 02A record of each visit and the actions taken
  3. 03The list of products used and what for
  4. 04A photo report after every visit
  5. 05An invoice in your organisation's name, VAT itemised
  6. 06One contact, however many sites you have

What the regulations say

Food hygiene

Regulation (EC) No 852/2004 requires food business operators to have pest control procedures. The visit log shows that they are being applied.

Biocidal products: the Certibiocide

In France, professional use of rodenticides and insecticides is restricted to holders of the Certibiocide. Every one of our technicians holds it.

What businesses ask us

Can you come before opening or after closing time?

+

Yes. Online booking offers slots from 8 am to 8 pm every day. Under a contract, we set visits at times that suit your premises, weekends included.

Can the invoice be made out to the company?

+

Yes. Enter the company name when booking or in the contract: the invoice shows the company, the amount before VAT, the VAT and the total.

Can one contract cover several addresses?

+

Yes. Each address has its own station map and log, but you keep a single contract, a single contact and, if you wish, combined invoicing.

What if I need a visit at my own home?

+

Book it online like any household: the same Sentinel Protocol, a two-hour slot, a price shown and paid before the visit, and a photo report the same day.
