Commitment 4/4 · Protocol follow-up, control visit

A protocol carried through: control visit, advice and active vigilance

We commit to the means: applying the Sentinel Protocol, coming back to check when it says so, and telling you clearly what to watch.

Sentinel Protocol: Inspect, Treat, Sanitise, Follow up

A treatment cannot be judged on the day it is applied. Baits have to be eaten, gel has to work, some eggs have to hatch before the young insects can be reached. That is why the Sentinel Protocol ends with a fourth stage: Follow up.

Our commitment is a duty of means. We apply a professional protocol, come back to check when the protocol provides for it and give you precise advice. We do not promise an outcome, because nobody controls every cause of a return: an infested neighbour, a second-hand chair, a suitcase.

How we keep it

  1. 01

    Number of visits stated

For each service, the recommended protocol says how many visits to plan; you see it when you book.

  2. 02

    Methodical check

Bait consumption, fresh signs, state of the proofing, live insects: the technician compares with the previous report.

  3. 03

    Adjustments explained

If activity persists, they adapt the treatment set out in the protocol and explain what changes.

  4. 04

    Active vigilance

Between visits, you know which signs to watch for and when to call us back.

During the control visit

The technician takes the first visit's photo report and goes back over every point noted. They record what has changed, re-treat within the protocol if needed and add proofing if a new entry point has appeared.

They also review things with you: could the advice be followed? Is there still a cluttered area, badly stored food, a door gap to fix? A new photo report is emailed to you the same day.

A duty of means: what it changes for you

A promise of results would be easy to write and impossible to keep honestly. An infestation can return for reasons outside the treatment: building work next door that opens a passage, luggage brought back from a trip, a gap you chose not to have sealed.

What we provide can be checked: a protocol described in advance, priced visits, dated reports and written advice. If signs reappear, call us: we start from those documents to suggest the most suitable next step.

At home

After the first visit, you know what was checked, what depends on you and when to get back in touch.

On business premises

For a shop, residential building or landlord, follow-up can continue as a prevention plan with regular visits and dated reports.

What this commitment does not cover

We do not promise that a pest will never come back. We give you the means to spot it early and to reduce that risk.

When does the control visit take place?

It depends on the pest: the treatment needs time to work. The technician tells you and notes it in the photo report.

What if there is still activity at the control visit?

The technician records it, adapts the treatment set out in the protocol and notes everything in that day's report.

Can you promise the pests won't come back?

No, and no honest professional can. We apply a protocol, check, seal the entry points found and explain how to reduce the risk of a return.
